How do you recreate the singular experience that is Portland's very own Voodoo Doughnuts? Plant some hand-hammered steel tree branches, wrap some table tops in candy corns and celebrity obituaries, and spritz a little psychedelic paint to taste.
When Cat Daddy and Tre approached us to put together a proposal for their new Austin, TX location last summer, our designers had a field day. What we ended up boiling down was an eclectic combination of Southern, Gothic, and psychedelic flavors.
Located smack dab in the center of Austin's lively 6th Street strip, Voodoo Doughnut's 5th location is the perfect spot to stop in if you happen to be in town for the annual South By Southwest Festival, or just stomping around in one of the coolest cities in the country.
